Timeline Dataset

This page describes the fields that can be found in the timeline csv file. This data is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License

timeline_irn - a unique numeric identifier used by the PrideNZ content management system
date - a nicely formatted date of the event
weekday - component of event date, Monday-Sunday
day - component of event date, 1-31
month - component of event date, 1-12
year - component of event date, e.g. 1942
title - title of event
detail - description of event
location - location of event
country - country in which the event occured
type - event type: Group, Individual, Society, Undefined
category - event category: e.g. Arts, General, People etc
links - external url links related to the event. Each link contains a title and a url split by a | pipe character. Multiple links are split by a carriage return
timestamp - use this field to give an accurate sort order. If an entry's date is incomplete (e.g. no day or month), the timestamp will default to the first of the month and/or year) - so use it for sorting but not for display.
