Tamati Coffey Breakfast weatherman Tamati Coffey will MC the Cartier Trust's annual fundraiser event, the Masquerade Ball. The event will be held at Auckland's St Matthews in the City on Saturday November 27, to coincide with World AIDS Day the following week. Coffey will co-host the fundraiser for the HIV-support charity, along with television presenter and singer-songwriter, Ramon Te Wake. The event will include a night of musical entertainment, a full three course plated meal, a charity auction and dancing. "Ten months of hard work in planning the event and it is shaping up as a high quality production and excellent evening – with a superb venue and entertainment, including Australian singer and actor, Shaun Rennie, and a Masquerade themed performance extravaganza by Buckwheat and Tess Tickle. A full three course plated meal (supplied by Sky City) will also be served" says founding Trustee Karen Ritchie. "We are very pleased to have secured such a wonderful venue with St Matthews in the City, and high calibre entertainers and presenters," she says. "We are particularly pleased to have Shaun Rennie perform, as he is an outstanding singer and he will sound wonderful in the church." The Masquerade Charity Ball tickets prices start at $125 through iTicket - www.iTicket.co.nz.
