Ben Barratt-Boyes The NZ AIDS Foundation's National Partnerships Coordinator and organiser of the Big Gay Out is leaving the organisation. Ben Barratt-Boyes, a highly popular staffer who who joined the Foundation three years ago as a Health Promoter, was upgraded to become the Foundation's National Partnerships Manager in March last year. He also undertook the organisation of this year's Big Gay Out when the NZAF decided to take the event's planning and management in-house. Barratt-Boyes is understood to be returning to the corporate business sector. He will depart the Foundation's Head Office in three weeks' time. The Foundation, which has yet to publicly comment on his departure, is understood to be eager to find a replacement for him as soon as possible and is expected to advertise the position within days. Barratt-Boyes' resignation comes just over a week after the NZAF's Executive Director Rachael Le Mesurier announced that she will depart after seven years' heading the organisation.
