Buffy and Bimbo Buffy and Bimbo have been invited to work alongside Weta Workshop on a unique fundraiser for Project Born, which helps with the care of premature babies. The Queen of the Whole Universe creators will work with Mojo Coffee, the Neo-Natal Trust and the Oscar-winning studio for the event in Wellington on 18 and 19 November at Mojo Coffee Central, Shed 13, Wellington Waterfront. Project Born is based on a fundraising idea conceived and developed over several years by Trustee, Michael Meads. This year's fundraiser will be a lingerie fashion show, with the venue to be transformed from a working waterfront factory into a theatre venue for 300 patrons. Buffy and Bimbo hosting will host the cocktail party, emceeing two acts of the show and performing with a group of dancers. Models will be wearing underwear inspired by Weta Workshops. The duo believes in the work of the Neo-Natal Trust, which has helped with the care of many of their sisters' and brothers' children who were born prematurely. "We are so excited to be involved in this event. It is such a huge acknowledgement of our work over the past 14 years. Just to be asked by Sir Richard Taylor to be involved is the biggest highlight of our performing careers" Buffy and Bimbo say. "The design team, MOJO Coffee and Weta are amazing to work with and so open to our ideas and dreams and boy we are having lots of amazing dreams at the moment."
