Fri 8 Oct 2010 In: International News View at Wayback View at NDHA

A Dallas high school is preventing a transgender teenager from running for homecoming queen. Eighteen-year-old Andy Moreno was nominated by friends at North Dallas High School. Her parents and friends all say they support her bid for queen. The Dallas Independent School District says there is no policy on the matter, so they let the principal decide.
