Gay skydiving instructor suing boss

Tue 5 Oct 2010 In: International News View at NDHA

Daniel Zorda A gay skydiving instructor is suing his former boss, after he was fired over accusations he molested a female student in mid-air. Forty-year-old Daniel Zarda says he has not been able to get work since he was sacked in June. An 18-year-old woman claims Zarda tried to put her at ease by saying, "Don't worry, I'm gay." The woman claims he then touched her "in a way that made her feel uncomfortable" during a jump. Zarda claimed instructors make sexual jokes with their students before jumps to allay any fears of being strapped together so tightly. He told the New York Post: "I'm 100 percent gay. So, you're accusing me 'the gay guy' of touching the girl inappropriately? The situation is so bizarre."
