Sarah McLachlan-led show cancelled

Tue 28 Sep 2010 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

Sarah McLachlan The Auckland show in the A Taste of Lilith tour has been cancelled, because one of the acts the Court Yard Hounds had to postpone all their scheduled appearances. Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, an icon for many lesbians, was leading the line-up for the show, which is a spin-off her Lilith Fair concept. Promoters say the cancelling is due to re-routing of the entire tour, which has meant the Court Yard Hounds have had to postpone all scheduled appearances in Australia. They say as a result the New Zealand show scheduled for Monday 18 October at the ASB Theatre has had to be cancelled. The Court Yard Hounds are made up of two members of the Dixie Chicks. A Taste of Lilith will still go ahead in Australia. Auckland ticket holders can return to the point of purchase for a full refund.
