Man charged after NZ-born diplomat's death

Wed 28 Apr 2010 In: International News

John Terry Jamaican police have made an arrest in connection with the 'gay hate' murder of New Zealand-born honorary British consul John Terry. Terry, (65), was found dead in his home near Kingston in September last year. He had been badly beaten with a lamp in his own bed before being strangled with a cord. A hand-written note found on his body described him as a 'batty man,' Jamaican patois for homosexual. The arrested man, a security guard, has been charged with conspiracy to murder.
