Anna Paquin comes out: "I'm bisexual"

Oscar-winning New Zealand actress Anna Paquin has come out as bisexual in a video promoting gay rights in the USA. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer The video (see clip below) is produced by an anti-discrimination organisation backed by Cindi Lauper's True Colours Fund. Paquin, who stars in the international smash hit TV series True Blood, says in the video: "I'm bisexual... one hate crime is committed approximately every  hour of every day in [the USA]." Paquin last year announced her engagement to her True Colours co-star Stephen Moyer. She has not previously been rumoured to be bisexual and has been unavailable for comment since the video was released. Within hours of word of Paquin's announcement getting out the server hosting the clip was overwhelmed and crashed. The story has raced through the world's news and entertainment media.
