Ellen DeGeneres in Female Force comic

Thu 1 Apr 2010 In: International News View at NDHA

Lesbian comic, tv host and American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres’ life story will be featured in the latest issue of the US-based comic series Female Force. Other influential American women who have recently been featured in the series are Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin and JK Rowling. “Ellen and her organization were very generous by embracing this book. That’s why we are happy to share a percentage of the proceeds with her favorite charity; the Humane Society,” said a spokesperson for the comic series publishers, Bluewater Productions. Big moments in DeGeneres' life to be illustrated in the comic include the episode of her Ellen sitcom in which she came out and her invitation to join the American Idol judging panel. The issue, which hits American stores on Wednesday, also includes her gay rights advocacy.
