In Auckland now: Lady Gaga "Just arrived in New Zealand, greeted at 7am by all my beautiful fans, glitter faces + police. Can't wait to perform the show of a lifetime," the song star Tweeted this morning. Lady Gaga will perform two shows at Auckland's Vector Arena this weekend. Her song Bad Romance and album The Fame Monster were picked as GayNZ.com readers' favourite music in our poll of last year's best entertainment. Cherry Cherry Boom Boom Queen Street gelato store Giapo is welcoming Lady Gaga with a special flavour called Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, made with amoretto cherries covered in dark chocolate. Gay fan Corey Sehnert works at the store and is hoping his idol visits Giapo to sample the flavour she inspired. "If I met her, apart from cry, I would thank her for what she has presented me with. She is an inspiration to me, I aspire to be like her – 'I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me, Papa Paparazzi.' "I love her originality. She does not copy other artists. She is the most authentic, genuine 'out there' person in the world right now. Her costumes, music and lifestyle is unbelievable. She is outstanding," he tells GayNZ.com.
