Gay BBC star found dead

Tue 2 Mar 2010 In: International News View at Wayback

A popular gay BBC TV presenter has been found dead in his apartment, with a UK tabloid reporting that his sudden demise was the result of auto-erotic asphyxiation. Sudden death: BBC presenter Kristian Digby Kristian Digby, 32, hosted TV's That Gay Show and numerous daytime game and reality shows. His death, at his east London home, has detectives believing he starved himself of oxygen during a solo sex act, according to The Sun. Kill Bill star David Carradine and INXS singer Michael Hutchence were both killed under similar circumstances. A BBC spokesperson paid tribute to Digby: "Kristian was a much-loved and talented presenter for BBC Daytime. He brought a real sense of energy and warmth to all the shows he presented for us and will be sorely missed. "Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time."
