A Ugandan pastor who is in favour of strengthening the country's anti-gay laws has shown gay pornography is his church in a bid to gain support for his beliefs. Gay porn collection: Martin Ssempa "The major argument homosexuals have is that what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is nobody's business, but do you know what they do in their bedrooms?" pastor Martin Ssempa asked his 300-strong congregation, before displaying a slideshow of gay porn images. "Is this what Obama wants to bring to Africa?," he asked, referring to America's condemnation of Uganda's anti-gay bill, drafted last year. Noma Pakade, of the African gay rights group Behind the Mask, says Ssempa's behaviour is an example of "twisted homophobic propaganda." Other activists are damanding his arrest, saying there were under-18-year-olds in the audience who shouldn't have been exposed to pornography. Uganda's globally condemned Anti-Homosexuality Bill, which advocates the death penalty for some same-sex 'crimes', is currently under review, as Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni now fears it will adversely effect the country’s foreign relationships.
