The story of Boy George's rise to fame will be told in a new BBC drama, with cameras set to roll next month. Biopic plan: Boy George "Worried About the Boy will be an evocative and visually enticing drama about one of our most iconic British pop stars," says the BBC. Newcomer actor Douglas Booth will play Boy George as he struggles with new-found fame and drug addiction in the 1980s. The 90-minute biopic will begin with the singer working as a cloakroom attendant before meeting his future Culture Club bandmates in the London nightclub, reports The Guardian.
