Wellington's lesbian library opens in new home

The capital's long-running library resource for lesbians will open in a new location this weekend. LILAC Library has The L Word DVD's available "LILAC's grand opening is at our new site tomorrow (Saturday 16 January) - from 11am to 3pm. Come and visit us at 64 Cambridge Terrace, thru the Buddhist Centre door had to move from its space on St. Andrew's on The Terrace back in November when renovations of the premises began. LILAC has moved several times since it first opened in September 1994. LILAC's collection includes books on a range of lesbian-related topics including biographies, fiction, early feminism, wellbeing and poetry, along with local publications, DVDs and videos.
