Otago Uni offers sexuality and gender workshops

Thu 7 Jan 2010 In: New Zealand Daily News

How does questioning sexual and gender identities impact on your friendships, your social life and your confidence? Otago University's Student Support Centre is offering two free workshops exploring common questions about sexuality, gender and identity. Facilitated by an experienced counsellor, the first workshop is planned for this Saturday 9 January from 9am until 3pm at the centre. The second is scheduled for Saturday 23 January. To book a place at either or both workshops, email OUSA's Philippa Keaney at q.support@ousa.org. Orientation for new and returning Otago University students is set for 21 February until 5 March, featuring music, comedy, competitions, and information about clubs including the UniQ group for LGBT students.
