Free Topp Twins screening for park in Mt. Eden

The acclaimed documentary film tracing lesbian sisters The Topp Twins' rise from youngsters on the farm to iconic Kiwi entertainers will be shown free in Auckland's Tahaki Reserve in Mount Eden in February. The 'Movies in Parks' event will also feature a live performance by local indie pop band Collapsing Cities before the screening. The show and film screening is set to begin at 7:30pm on Wednesday 10 February, Auckland City Council has announced. The Topp Twins have also scheduled a show at Auckland Zoo's band rotunda with Don McGlashan on Sunday 28 February. The twins' new album Honky Tonk Angel is now out in shops.
