The Auckland man accused of knowingly exposing fourteen young people to HIV - who was found dead in his Mt Eden remand prison cell this week - was also under investigation for two drug rape incidents, reports the NZ Herald. New allegations: Glenn Mills Two men came to police independently in recent months to tell police of their experience with Glenn Mills, with one aged in his 20's revealing he'd loved Mills and forgiven him since the "horrific" rape. "Mills allegedly handed him an open can of beer, then a second," reports the Herald. "The man said he felt woozy and went to sleep in the spare bedroom. He told police he was unable to move, but was conscious, when Mills raped him." Since the incident, the complainant had tested HIV negative and laid a complaint with the police detective investigating Mills. "I don't condone what he did by any means," the young man wrote to the Herald, adding that he attended Mills' funeral. "But I understand where he came from, I understand why he did what he did. "Someone did it to him. Someone infected him first. He was doing what someone else did to him." The Herald's story comes just days after the first complainant against Mills told GayNZ.com details of the relationship they'd shared. The man in his 20s claimed Mills admitted secretly tearing a condom during a sex encounter, which resulted in the complainant getting HIV.
