A new local television network on the net could use some gay shows - or even an all-LGBT channel - in its line-up, its director tells GayNZ.com. Ziln.co.nz, which launched three months ago, features ten New Zealand-based channels and over a dozen international channels streamed free on the net. "We're keen for creative gay people to come on board with us and run a channel," says Ziln's director Gresham Bradley. The cost is reasonable, and we can give you all the tools you need to broadcast your content," he adds. "Since we no longer have a gay programme on TV like Queer Nation or The Outlook, perhaps there's a gap in the market that someone in the LGBT community would like to fill. "We put out the invitation - come and talk to us." Bradley says several new channels will be added to Ziln over the next few months, including music videos and an archive of old black and white classic TV shows like I Love Lucy and The Three Stooges.
