A straw poll of over 300 GayNZ.com readers has found that their most popular viewing at 7pm isn't Shortland Street or a current affairs show - it's Family Guy on C4. 339 people responded to our question 'Which would you prefer to watch at 7pm?', with Family Guy as the most common 7pm show, with 35% of the vote. The writers of Family Guy outed talking baby Stewie Griffin recently, and a recent episode saw dad Peter injected with a 'gay gene'. Shortland Street, which currently features one lesbian and one bi nurse along with an 'asexual' receptionist, was the second most popular answer, with 23% of the votes. Campbell Live on TV3 picked up slightly more votes than TVOne's Close Up, but they were both hovering around 11% of the vote, roughly the same amount as that told us they would prefer to watch a DVD or clips on YouTube. Our next poll will find out what qualities in our readers are most important to them. This fortnight, let us know if you would rather be wealthy, popular, powerful, attractive, smart or famous. You may only choose one, so pick the most important to you. The poll is now open on the lower right-hand corner of GayNZ.com's front page.
