The Auckland Lesbian Business Association (ALBA)'s special guest for its October meeting is Arani Cuthbert - the manager of the Topp Twins and the producer of the recent hit movie about them. From 6pm this Wednesday 14 October upstairs at K' Road's Purple bar, Cuthbert will share her tales about making the film, and talk about her recent trip to Toronto, Canada where the Topp Twins were a huge hit -Untouchable Girls won the coverted People's Choice Award. CHRISTMAS CAPERS ALBA's annual Christmas Party has also been scheduled at Purple bar - with the date set for Friday 27 November. Its theme will be 'incognito', with attendees encouraged to dress to mystify others. "As long as you don't look like yourself - anything goes," say the ALBA team "It could be as simple as a masquerade mask, or as 'over the top' as you can handle. "The challenge for the evening is to locate 'Ms X'. You will receive a clue on the back of your ticket.
