Friends remember Leah Morrison

21-year-old Aucklander Leah Morrison died suddenly yesterday, and her friends will gather at K' Road's Kamo café and Palmerston North's Club Q tonight (Monday) to remember her. Leah Morrison (left) with her friend Miss Phloss Kamo is usually closed on Mondays, but will open at 5pm this evening as a meeting place for people who knew Leah. All are welcome to pay their respects. Palmerston North's LGBT bar Club Q will also be open from 6pm tonight for friends and staff to remember Leah, who used to DJ there. Dozens of people have left tribute messages on Leah's Facebook page. UPDATE: The Funeral Service for Leah will be held at Beauchamp Funeral Home, 167 John F Kennedy Drive Palmerston North, Saturday 3rd October at 2pm, followed by the wake at Club Q, from 4pm onwards. Koha can be made at 37 Gloucester Street, Palmerston North.
