Sydney plans Big Gay Flash Mob

A team of creative gay Sydneysiders are encouraging a large number of people to be part of Australia's first Big Gay Flash Mob in November. Flash mob: 'Single Ladies' in London The organisers want to stage a spontaneous outdoor performance in the style of recent 'flash mob' performances like the Michael Jackson tribute in Stockholm and a song from The Sound of Music in Antwerp. The date has been set for Saturday 14 November, with rehearsals in the two weeks leading up to the event. Interested people are signing up via Facebook, with almost 300 people confirmed so far. Auckland has its own 'Flashmob Collective', also contactable via Facebook, with over 600 members. On the video below: The Sound of Music breaks out in Antwerp's Central Station.
