Kiwi songstress Anika Moa couldn't pack her favourite guitar for her trip to Mexico and Guatemala, but she managed to find one almost as soon as she was off the plane. Intrepid Journey: Anika Moa The Christchurch-born singer - who came out as lesbian in a magazine interview back in 2007 - will star on TVOne's Intrepid Journeys doco tonight at 7:30pm. Viewers will see her gatecrash a Mexican wedding and toasting the happy couple before continuing on her way through Guatemala and Honduras. "After meeting a couple of Mariachi Bands she soon had a spirited version of La Cucaracha down pat," reveals TVNZ. "But it wasn't just her musical ability that charmed the locals. Moa's natural appreciation of the local tequila and mescau made sure she was the life and soul of the party!" The episode will be also be available to view on TVNZ's website shortly after its tramsmission.
