Popular British illusionist Derren Brown - who revealed he was gay in a newspaper interview last year - has 'predicted' a set of Lotto numbers in a live TV event just broadcast in the UK. Winning numbers: Illusionist Derren Brown Brown had claimed he was aiming to get at least five of the six numbers correct, and the seemingly nervous trickster Twittered before the show: "It's going to be mortifying if they're all wrong. Forgive me in advance please. Gotta try it." Then he appeared on-screen watching the BBC's live Lotto draw, wrote down the six numbers drawn, then turned to reveal six lottery balls which had been with him on-screen throughout the brief broadcast. All six numbers matched - 2, 11, 23, 28, 35 and 39. Brown remains tight-lipped about how he did the unique trick, but will return in another show later this week to reveal "how I did it, and how you can do it too." The magical entertainer - whose shows have been seen in New Zealand on TV2 - has previously made the sun seem to disappear, performed a séance and played a real game of Russian Roulette in sensational TV stunts. Brown told The Sun newspaper last year that he's been in a "perfect" relationship with a man for over a year, but his partner prefers to stay out of the public eye. On the video below: Derren Brown seems to accurately predict the UK's six winning Lotto numbers.
