Ending six successful years of regular parties for Auckland's gay clubbers, this Saturday night's Salvation party will be the last. The organising team at M2 promise to send Salvation off with a bang, bringing back DJ Ruby from Sydney, featuring sexy DJ Station dancers, adding a Gay Republic cocktail lounge, and raising the dancefloor laser count to six - including four full-colour ones. "When we had our first Salvation party, it was only supposed to be a one-off," party promoter Martin Roberts tells GayNZ.com. "But they've been so popular we've kept them going - there used to be nothing else like them. "Now there are lots of options for nights out, and planning the parties requires a lot of time and effort to do well," he explains. "So we decided to end Salvation on a high, and it's great to see so many people have already booked. We've got strong support right to the end." Tickets for Saturday night's final Salvation party at Galatos are on sale now - with ore details on the party's official website. The promotional video for the party is shown below.
