26-year-old hottie Sergio Lara from Spain took the coveted Mr. Gay Europe title at an extravagant pageant in Norway at the weekend. Winner: Sergio Lara, Mr. Gay Europe 2009 It's the second time a Spanish contestant has won the five-year-old contest - Spain won last year too. Lara is a psychology graduate, also has a music degree and has worked at a sexual health testing centre. He said that entering the Mr. Gay Europe contest was a unique opportunity: "firstly the personal experience to meet new people which in turn are experiencing a similar situation to mine … to open doors in the world of advertising and modeling but especially to represent the LGTB community of my country - although we are many and I am just another one.
