"We'll be celebrating the sexiest, sleaziest aspects of the world of sport," Sydney's Sleaze Ball crew has announced. "Expect to see rugby players, roller derby, netball uniforms, martial arts, fencers, matadors, kick boxers, Mexican wrestlers, Turkish wrestlers, jelly wrestlers, surfers, and much more." Sporty spice: Sydney's Sleaze Ball returns this October Tickets went on sale today for the annual Sleaze Ball, planned for Saturday 3 October. Following party-goer feedback from last year, the party will return to two dance spaces: the massive Hordern Pavilion and the nearby Dome building, both also used during the Mardi Gras Party each March. The Scissor Sisters' tour DJ Sammy Jo will be flown in from New York for the party, with other DJs and acts to be announced in two weeks' time. Sydney's Sleaze Ball each Spring acts as a fundraiser for March's Mardi Gras events. More information and ticketing details for the Sleaze Ball are available on the Sydney Mardi Gras website.
