Sex info kiosk set for more Kiwi venues

Wed 17 Jun 2009 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

A world-first touch-screen sex information system now available in three all-male sex venues in Auckland and Christchurch will soon debut in more locations, says the NZ AIDS Foundation. SAM: The NZAF's newest safe sex info service SAM - short for 'Sexually Adventurous Men' - is designed to dispense accurate and myth-busting information about safer sex to men in hook-up hotspots. Currently in operation at Christchurch's Menfriends and Auckland's Lateshift and Centurian, the NZAF's National Partnerships Co-ordinator Ben Barratt-Boyes has today confirmed that funding has been secured to add three more SAM kiosks in other venues around New Zealand. Barratt-Boyes also plans for the information on SAM to be available on the internet in a few weeks' time. "We have the ability to add more information, news, competitions and interactive opportunities to SAM in the future," he explains. "We'll do what we can to give people more reasons to check it out."
