Miss California's comments against gay marriage have now meant she's been stripped of her title. "You're fired": The former Miss California At the Miss USA pageant back in April, Miss California Carrie Prejean was asked by popular gay gossip blogger Perez Hilton if the United States should legalize gay marriage. Her reply - "I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised and that's how I think that it should be" - prompted an emotional audience reaction. Prejean, a runner up in the Miss USA contest, has now lost her title after California pageant executive director Keith Lewis said Prejean was skipping official Miss California USA events while also speaking out against gay marriage at informal appearances. Prejean said on NBC'S Today show that she "absolutely" had been dethroned because of her comments against gay marriage. "None of this would have been happening right now if I had just said 'Yeah, gay should get married'," she claimed. ABC News commentator Keith Obermann wades in on this story in the video below.
