New night for Wellington women at Club Ivy

Fri 5 Jun 2009 In: New Zealand Daily News

Finger on the Trigger is a brand new dance party event for and by lesbian and bi women,  transgender, intersex, takataapui, fa'afafine and whakawahine and their friends, launching at Wellington's Club Ivy on Dixon Street next Thursday. Organizer 'DJ Cut Loose' promises "plenty of beats to move your feet, provided by our resident DJs Hubahabanero, Puss in Boots and special guests." There will also be drink specials on the night - two jugs for $14. The first Finger on the Trigger night will happen from 8pm on Thursday 11 June, and if popular will become a regular event. Finger on the Trigger has a blog to keep people informed about the party nights and other items of interest to women in the capital – see it here.
