Anti-homophobia videos set to Lily Allen's new song 'Fuck You' are popular on the net this month, and now New Zealand's Triangle/Stratos TV crew wants you to make a local version. YouTube hit: Lily Allen 23 YouTubers sung along to Allen's new anti-homophobia song in advance of last week's International Day Against Homophobia, earning over 150,000 views on the website. Then a French version involved several more video participants. Popular Kiwi blogger Russell Brown enjoyed the videos and issued a challenge last week: "The New Zealand creative and screen production communities are stacked with LGBT talent. Wouldn't it be cool if New Zealand joined the meme - and blew everyone else off the dancefloor?" Triangle TV Producer/Director Deb Faith tells GayNZ.com she's keen to facilitate what they call New Zealand's 'Collaboration Against Homophobia Video'. "Send your entries to us in email / DVD format before June 5th and we'll screen it at an appropriate time... given the language content," she says. Triangle TV will also put the resulting video on YouTube after it's broadcast on Triangle on Thursday 11 June. The email address to send video clips is info@tritv.co.nz. The French version of the Collaboration Against Homophobia video is shown below.
