Gay UK television fashionista Gok Wan will visit New Zealand for a party this month, reports the Herald on Sunday. Can he handle the jandle on his Kiwi visit?: Fashionista Gok Wan The flamboyant star of popular TV One show Gok's Fashion Fix will be the guest of honour at a Takapuna style event on Wednesday 20 May, where he'll help promote Specsavers brand eyewear. 34-year-old Wan has worked in the celebrity fashion world for over a decade, and begun his TV presenting career on style show How to Look Good Naked in 2006. "I became Britain's sweetheart because I'm a safe gay. I'm non-intrusive," he told the UK's Observer newspaper last month. "I haven't really had any bad experiences coming out. No one's ever rejected me. There was me, running around in a sarong at the age of 16 - they probably knew." Gok Wan gives some Coronation Streeters a much-needed makeover on the video clip below.
