Wed 18 Mar 2009 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

UPDATE 24 March 2009: This event has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. As part of Auckland Zoo's outdoor Zoo Movies series, an audience participation screening of the camp cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show will be an opportunity for filmgoers to 'do the Time Warp again'. Frank N Furter: "It's astounding, time is fleeting..." "Audience participation is the theme of this night out with every movie-goer getting a bag of props - with instructions - to use throughout the movie," says the Zoo crew. "From die-hard movie fans to virgin viewers, the fun style of props, participation sing-a-long and dress up is all designed to create a memorable night out." Actor and TV presenter Mark Ferguson will leads the live entertainment including props 'rehearsal' and refresher 'Time Warp' – "all designed to get you jumping to the left and stepping to the right" for the evening movie screening at the Zoo's band rotunda next Thursday 26 March.
