A series of discussions at the West Auckland Women's Centre is an opportunity to get into hot topics of interest to women who love women. Lesbian Bites discussions are organised by the centre's Lesbian Discussion Group, and topics include 'Coming out to family', 'dealing with homophobia', 'Lesbians in the media', 'crushes on straight women', and 'books, art and poetry'. "It's about capturing the diverse nature of the lesbian community by offering topics that will interest a broad range of women," explains facilitator Cissy Rock. "No matter how long you've identified as a lesbian, you'll have something to contribute and something to learn from these discussions."
