Flirt adds women's space to Hero Party

Wed 18 Feb 2009 In: New Zealand Daily News

"For all the lovely ladies heading to the Hero Party this Friday, get ready for a glamorous night out," say the girls from Flirt events. Heading to Hero: The Flirt girls have their own space 2009's Hero Party at Auckland's Transmission Room will boast a special women's only space, run by the Flirt team. "It will be a relaxed break-out space from what's going to be the most intense night this year!" says Flirt co-organiser Kelvery Longopoa. "The party is pretty much a one-night festival – with over ten DJ's – including three female DJ's, two dance areas, live body painting, amazing shows, and even a live rock act! "So when the party is all too much and you need to catch your breath, get ready to walk the red carpet into this amazing chill out area, where you can mix and mingle while taking a break from the intensity downstairs," she tells GayNZ.com. The Flirt Space will be situated in the venue's VIP room which is usually used for the performers of international acts. "Sexy, seductive, and full of women – the Flirt Space will be the place to be! So come on up and we will see you there!" Flirt women's events happen on the first and third Saturday of each month at Purple bar, upstairs on the corner of K' Road and Pitt Streets. The night after the Hero Party will be a Toga-themed Party, with punters encouraged to dress in a sheet or Greek style outfit – the best costume will win a $50 bar tab. Tickets for this Friday's Hero Party can be booked online on the link below.
