LGBT support network OUTLine's popular tennis tournament evening will return for Auckland's Pride 2009 Festival next month. "Our tournament usually sees tennis talent rivaled only by Anna Kournikova herself," enthuses OUTLine's General Manager Lesley Belcham. "Join us for a night of fun that caters for all levels and all abilities." Taking place on Friday 20 February [UPDATE 20/2/2009: event has now been postponed until Monday 23 Feb due to rain] at the West End Tennis Club in Cox's Bay, the event will be a fun evening of social tennis in a round robin format with changing partners. "The OUTLine tournament is one of our popular fundraising events so spread the word," says Belcham. "There will be a BBQ providing great food to keep up energy levels and a cash bar for refreshing drinks. Get in quick as we are limited to 48 spaces. "Grab your partner, put your tennis shoes on and start practicing! There will be prizes for all those that can show us what they are worth. Have a ball and give it a go, I did last year and loved it!" The event is made possible with the generous support of the West End Tennis club and Malcolm Pacific immigration specialists. For enquiries and bookings, please contact Marwan on promotions@outlinenz.com or phone the office on 309 3268. Registration costs $20. The tournament starts at 6pm, Monday 23 February at West End Tennis Club, Fife Street, Cox's Bay, Westmere.
