The BBC is under fire from LGBT viewers of TV special The Most Annoying People of 2008, which included "obscene and offensive" remarks about Hollywood girl couple Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Leave Lindsay alone: Lindsay Lohan Ranking the couple at 43 on the list of 100 most irritating celebs, porn star Ron Jeremy described in details the sexual acts he would like to perform on the couple. Radio presenter DJ Spoony then added that attractive women "should be saved for guys". "Let the munters and mingers get each other - that's cool because no-one really wants them," Spoony opined. "But when they're hot and fit and Hollywood superstars, they should be saved for guys." LGBT equality activist Peter Tatchell was, as usual, quick to voice concern: "The BBC should also issue a public apology," he told PinkNews.co.uk. "The remarks by DJ Spoony and straight porn actor Ron Jeremy were gratuitously sexist and homophobic. The production company and the BBC should have never broadcast them." The longtime campaigner added: "Ron Jeremy's comments were needlessly offensive, he's an ugly, sexist pig, which no right-thinking woman, lesbian or straight, would want to meet, let alone have sex with." The BBC has so far declined to apologise for the comments, stating that "no malice was intended from the 'light-hearted and comedic' programme.
