The Garden City will lose its campest drinking spot in late January when Miss Mole closes the doors on her Flamingo Bar for the last time. "The bar's last night will be on Saturday 24 January, with a big fabulous closing party. Come say goodbye to the crew with DJs Steve, Danice, Molesy and Fur Purse. Shows will happen at 1am – including my final Christchurch performance," says Mole. The Flamingo Bar opened in February 2008, which was 27 years after her last drinking venue - called Miss Mole's Hideaway – closed.
