Longer and earlier timeslot for Camp FM

Mon 15 Dec 2008 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

From this week, New Zealand's newest gay radio show Camp FM will now be on air for three hours each Monday night from 9pm. Hosts Aaron Halliwell and Andy Boreham, who started the show in October, say they're thrilled with the reception to the first few episodes, transmitted late on Wednesday evenings. Their popularity led Wellington-based host radio station Munt 88.5FM's managers to move Camp FM to earlier in the week and evening – and give the guys an extra hour on air. "We had some issues with listeners needing to get to bed when the show was on at 11", Boreham says. "Now they have no excuse!" As well as pop music, GayNZ.com news and opinions aplenty from the two gay hosts, Camp FM features weekly LGBT community guests, including Wellington's colourful drag divas. Camp FM, now broadcast each Monday night from 9pm until Midnight on Munt 88.5FM in Wellington, also streams live via the internet on the link below.
