Gay pop star Boy George is defending himself in court this week against a claim he imprisoned a male escort in his flat. Chain male: Boy George The singer and DJ was arrested last year after Auden Carlsen alleged George and another man had grabbed him and chained him to a wall in the star's East London home. Boy George – real name George O'Dowd – has told the court Carlson, who was a sex worker at the time, had wanted to be placed in handcuffs. Calsen told the court that the later singer beat him with a chain because he had refused to have sex with him. O'Dowd's lawyer claims Carlsen's version of events has been exaggerated.
