In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Queen of the Whole Universe pageant, an exhibition featuring past garments, film footage, commissioned paintings and never seen before photos taken behind the scenes will be open through next week at Auckland's Aotea Centre. Capturing the moment: Relive scenes from Queen of the Whole Universe at the Aotea Centre The exhibition will include three different audiovisual showings – one of last year's show, one a behind the scenes documentary, and one a slideshow of more photos. Entry is free, and the photos and paintings are for sale with all profits donated to the show, which is a fundraiser for local HIV charities. The QWU Exhibition will be located in the BNZ Foyer, Aotea Centre will run from midday Monday 10 until midday Sunday 16 November. Rehearsals are well underway for this year's Queen of the Whole Universe show, to be held at the Aotea Centre on Saturday 15 November. Premium Reserve and A reserve tickets have already sold out, but limited seats remain in the stalls, at the back of the Circle, and on the balcony level.
