Wed 15 Oct 2008 In: International News View at Wayback

Three men promoted gay sex parties on the internet, then drugged and raped their guests and injected them with HIV-infected blood, a court in the Dutch city of Groningen has been told. The men are accused of deliberately infecting at least 14 other men with HIV. All three deny the charges, but each face up to 21 years in prison if convicted. 12 of their alleged victims have tested HIV-positive, reports the BBC. The trial continues this week.
