US: Gay rape serial killer gets life

Thu 25 Sep 2008 In: International News View at Wayback View at NDHA

A Louisiana man who raped and murdered eight young men over a ten-year period has been sentenced to eight consecutive life terms in prison. Guilty: Ronald Dominique Ronald Dominique, 44, had been suspected in the killings of as many as 23 men, reports the Associated Press. He lured his victims to his house by promising to pay for sex or by showing them a picture of an attractive woman. When there, he would ask if he could tie them up as part of a sex game – and if they agreed, he would rape and strangle them. All of the victims were homeless, and many of their bodies were dumped in sugarcane fields – often without shoes, which lead police to suspect a serial killer.
