Hopes are high that openly-gay Australian diver Matthew Mitcham will take away an Olympic medal for Australia in the Men's 10m Platform final tonight after his strong placing in the semi-final. Mitcham is making history as the first Australian ever to compete in the Olympic Games while open about his homosexuality. New Zealanders can catch highlights of the 10m diving semi-final tonight at 9:15pm on TVOne. The finals will then be broadcast at 1:40am.
