A Reading man who was furious when his ex-wife started a lesbian relationship has been convicted of assaulting both women. In November last year, Learie Alleyne, 30, of Hamilton Road, Earley, appeared at the door of the home in Foxglove Gardens that his estranged wife Anne-Marie Alleyne was sharing with her lover Naomi Best. When the door opened as Mrs Alleyne and Miss Best were heading out, Mr Alleyne, who had been waiting at the door, "went for them" and attempted to punch both women in the face, reports Get Reading. Prosecutor Richard Nicholls explained: "Mrs Alleyne had found a new relationship. She had been in that relationship for about three months. The defendant was not happy about the situation."
