Ramon Te Wake Auckland-based transgender singer-songwriter Ramon Te Wake has premièred six songs on MySpace.com from her long-awaited second album Movement is Essential. "It's been a while since I have been doing the music thing - I miss it," she says, adding that the six tracks are not quite finished yet - "but the body is pretty much set." Te Wake's debut EP The Arrival was released in 2002, and since then has been busy working on and presenting Maori Television's Takataapui programme. She is again working with music producer Karl Moser on her new album, due out later this year. A link to Ramon Te Wake's MySpace page is provided below.
