Mahinarangi Tocker day at lesbian museum

A Mahinarangi Tocker remembrance event will be held this Saturday at Auckland's Charlotte Museum, to honour the lesbian singer/songwriter who died last week. Mahinarangi Tocker "It will be an opportunity to play her songs, mingle and celebrate her life and her great gift to our community," says the Charlotte Museum team. All are welcome to help pay tribute to Tocker's life. The event will take place this Saturday 26 April, at 2pm onwards at the Charlotte Museum (level 2, downstairs, 58 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn). Radio New Zealand National recently updated its website with a selection of archive audio interviews with Tocker. They can be accessed on the top link below.
