DJ Station's Go-Go Dancing Team needs more people - so are on the look-out for confident and entertaining Aucklanders of both genders willing to strut their stuff in short shorts. DJ Station Dancers at the HERO Party Jono Orlowski of K' Road's DJ Station fashion store designs all the outfits and books the dancers for gigs. "We need at least six people every weekend, and more on long weekends like the one coming up," he explains. The team - currently made up of Chris O, Victor, Tom, Chris L, Andy, Phloss, Gemma, Chloe and Louisa - are regularly seen at Fluffy and Ultra gay nights each weekend at 309 K' Road, but also do corporate gigs, hen nights and large events like the HERO Party and Wigs on the Waterfront. "The dancers are ambassadors of the event," says Orlowski. "They meet and greet, and are fun and friendly. They even flirt a little, and flash their well-toned bodies. "It's an ideal job for a show-off," he laughs, pointing out that the best candidates would be comfortable with their bodies, and confidant enough to approach and entertain people at events. Orlowski provides the outfits - which are usually skimpy - and payment is in cash, drinks and/or entry to events. Go-Go Dancer hopefuls can contact Jono Orlowski via email: jon@djstation.co.nz or by calling 09 373 2883.
