Sat 2 Feb 2008 In: International News View at Wayback

LGBT lovers around the world have been invited to share a short video tribute to their valentine on a new YouTube.com channel in time for Valentine's Day. The Mardi Gras Film Festival is launching Queer Eye For My Valentine in association with Google and YouTube. "We'll show all genuine and appropriate videos on our YouTube Channel, and we'll also select our favourites to screen on Valentines Day on the opening of the Mardi Gras film festival," says Lex Lindsay of the Mardi Gras Film Festival. "The maker of the winning video from Sydney will win an all access pass to the Mardi Gras Film Festival." More details on the contest can be viewed in the video clip below, and the QueerScreen YouTube channel is on the link below. GayNZ.com can feature Kiwi videos in the run up to Valentine's Day - so let us know if you are entering the promotion by contacting us using the form on the bottom of every GayNZ.com page.
